| 0:30.9 | You know, Joel is such a fabulous prophet. |
| 0:32.8 | He's this tiny little three chapters, |
| 0:35.1 | and he's living at the same time as Amos, so I figured that was helpful. |
| 0:40.5 | And it's all in 100, 150 years after the two kingdoms have separated. |
| 0:47.4 | So it's several years, a couple centuries before the Babylonian captivity, |
| 0:52.3 | and at least 50 to 100 years before |
| 0:56.5 | the Assyrians take the northern tribes. But Joel is written to these people who are |
| 1:02.5 | facing the day of the Lord. And because of that, there's a lot of overlap with the restoration. |
| 1:14.6 | And in fact, Maroni, in Joseph Smith history, Moroni quotes this, Joel. |
| 1:16.6 | And if we read it in that light, |
| 1:19.6 | it's in Joseph's in Joseph's history, chapter 1, verse 41. |
