Hey, welcome to The Best Show. My name's Tom Sharpling, I, the host of the show, and today we're going to do something

a little different.

We're going to pay tribute to our friend Lynn Shelton, who passed away over the weekend.

She died of a blood disease, and it's just the most heartbreaking thing imaginable

Lynn was just one of the greatest people what a nice what a nice soul so talented so

amazing her movies are so good and she was somebody who i was lucky enough to get to

become friends with and we really got along so well uh one of the nicest people just lit up

the room when she came in and so positive,

so smart and talented and just, just amazing.

I, in addition to being friends with her and because she was, she was a couple with Mark Marin who they were partners and just did everything

together and she directed a couple of his stand-up specials and did this movie called Sort of Trust, which is a great movie.

And I was, I got to do a Q&A with the two of them last summer when the movie was playing

in New York.

And that was great.

And after that, I just started to really get to know Lynn and we got to, we started working together, which was a great thing.

There's a show that Lynn I was working on, and then Lynn, there was the opportunity was just like who who should direct this and

it's just like I just said oh my God if Lynn Shelton would do this would be the greatest
