I'm Mike Pasca, another mass shooting, 26 killed,

apart from the shooter.

That is one fewer person than the total number killed in Sandy Hook.

If you include the shooter's mother there, but not the shooter,

Pulsin or Lando, that was more, Vegas was more, Aurora,

less deadly killing, fewer died at the hands of the San Bernardino

terrorists as well.

Now, I've just listed a few of the 10 deadliest shootings

in the United States, but the ones I've listed,

for the most part, the gunmen relied on a weapon

that was an AR-15 or an AR-15 type assault rifle.

It's true that the AR-15 isn't used in the vast majority

of gun deaths.

They really, really small number, in fact.

And I've kind of changed my mind about how I process

that one fact in the argument.

I used to think these are the big high profile shootings

that get our attention, but they don't really get

to the root of the gun problem.

That may be true, but I've thought about it a different way.
