I tried to interview Lynn LeMay. Believe me, I really tried. You see, for ages, I'd wanted to talk to her about her memories of her adult film career. She'd started making movies in New York in the 1980s, where she'd worked with many of the Golden Age greats, like Joe Sarno, Jamie Gillis, and Jerry Butler. Then she moved to California, where she appeared in movies by people like Henri Pachard and

Paul Thomas that featured stars like Portial Lynn, Ron Jeremy and Billy D.

She was also a big name on the featured dancer circuit, where she toured the US and Europe.

In fact, she only retired from the business a few years ago.

So we set some time up, and I tried to interview Linda May. Like I said, I tried. The thing is

that Linda May is a force of nature, and when she gets started, the only smart thing to do is

to get out of the way.

She has a story and an opinion on everything, and it's all entertaining and very revealing.

So I decided to just let the tape roll, and sit back and listen.

A long, long time ago, I can still remember how that music used to make me smile.

And I knew if I had my chance that I could make those people dance

And maybe they'd be happy for a while

I was the oldest of a bunch of kids

We didn't really have money for good clothes and I always felt weird and over in

the corner and very shy. I stood in corners. I ate by myself at lunch. I didn't have a boyfriend.

Nobody really talked to me. I didn't know what to say. You know, I joined FFA, which was the Future

Farmers of America in high school.

That didn't really make me popular or anything.

You know, it got me out and out of school while we went to a farm every day, but, you know, it didn't really make friends.

I moved a lot.
