We have Lynn Ulbricht, who's the mom of Ross Ulbricht, who is currently serving double life and 40 years for making a website.

And I see you know effort, not effort, constantly advocating for your son. I try to kind of empathize with all my guests.

And as I was saying to before we started, you know, sometimes when I'm sick, I'm bored of talking about North Korea and I think to myself every person I met in North Korea is still there.

You know I don't have that kind of luxury but these are strangers to me. These are people I've seen for a week. This is your son. This is your baby boy. So can you kind of explain how you got to this point and how you kind of have that strength to keep going with this?

Well I have the strength because as you say he's my baby boy and he's a good person.

He doesn't belong in there. It's a complete waste of a human being as well as $2 million if he stays

this whole life, God forbid. And I can't stop and what am I going to do? Oh Ross, sorry, I'm

tired. You hang out in your cage and I'll just go off and pursue my bliss.

No, I can't. There's no way that I can do that. So that, and now it's become bigger for me because having gone to the prisons and met the families and seeing the children sobbing, clinging to their fathers, leaving shattered from these visits, seeing, talking, hearing stories of the families that are being

destroyed by our excessive sentencing and the criminal justice system in this country, even when I get Ross out, I will continue because how can I

forget those people? I made it a point not to do my homework on this episode

because there's so much rumors and

misinformation that I wanted to ask you to get the story straight instead of because I'm

assuming a lot of people here innuendo you know how it works in the media
