The first of all victim was a woman named Vera E. Hallams. Entering her home in April of 1995,

Alfred attached the sleeping 45-year-old woman, tied her up, and beat her to death. After suffering

from a fatal brain injury, Alfred then raped her body, robbed the apartment, and walked away as if it were nothing.
