activist, attorney, and host of the Lurie Daniel Favors show on Sirius X-Em's Urban View,

channel 126. One of the things that I absolutely love about my show is the call-in relationship.

So it's one thing to have a national talk show where you're speaking to millions of

people every day from all across the country, technically all across the world, because we have

had participation in listeners in South Africa, on the apps in Europe, on the apps across the world.

So shout out to all of you who have downloaded the Sirius XM app and who listen when you were

not even in the continental United States. But one of the things I love about my show is the fact that in addition to communicating

outward towards the globe, I'm also able to take calls from people all across the country

or technically the world if you're willing to pay the long distance fees.

But the point is the call-in time is a very special time on Sirius XM Urban View Channel 126 because we have brilliant callers

in the Urban View audience who do phenomenal work of helping to amplify the stories to help flesh

out the stories.

And for example, if I'm talking about something that takes place in St. Louis and maybe we're

talking about education, then the first time I did that, we had a caller by the name of Tehran,

who not only is a part of creating programs for people in St. Louis,

who are looking at expanding educational opportunities for their children,

but then they talked about what was happening on the ground,

directly related to the story we were talking about.

When we talk about issues as it pertains to voter suppression

in a particular jurisdiction, inevitably, we will get a caller from that jurisdiction who will say
