Edelson versus the state of Florida is ongoing and where prosecutors today are working to untangle

sort of a web of the cell phone

and other digital forensic data on the stand from yesterday into today is Sergeant

Chris Corbett, who is with the Tallahassee Police Department.

I just had a chance.

And I tell you guys this all the time, that this is why I love being here. We just took the elevator down today. And, you know,

he's super well-prepared. This is trial number four. He's been through this. And he has a demonstrative

exhibit with slides and things of that nature.

I mean, the bottom line with his testimony so far is that he's walked these jurors literally step by step through cell tower data, call logs, and text messages.

And he's able to plot the hitman's moves.

In other words, Louis Rivera and Siegfriedo Garcia from Miami all the way up to Tallahassee using these cell phone ping.

So, you know, I know you guys are watching along with me.

And per the COE's suggestion, I can tell you this. I spent most of the morning inside the media

room just because my blood is now thin living in Miami and it's minus 47 again in the courtroom.

So I spent it in the media room talking to a lot of members of the media.

And you've literally got people, you know, you've got from the networks all the way on down to local Tallahassee news stations.
