But woe to you Pharisees.

We've talked before about, you know, whoa and stop a horse, you know.

But whoa, this is, woe in this parlance is sort of the equivalent of cursing today.

Okay, I'm not going to curse.

But that's the effect.

Right?

Woe is the opposite of blessed.

Right? It's the opposite of blessing someone.

So this isn't blessed or you Pharisees.

This is curse it are you Pharisees. Right? That's probably the politest way to put it.

Oh, here we are.

For you tithe, mint, and rue in all manner

of herbs and pass by justice

and the love of God. These you ought to have done without leaving the other's

undone. I think it was coming up. I didn't think it was coming up that quick.

Right? You do this tithing, right? You tithe all your herbs, but you pass by justice and the love of God. Right? Which is more important?

The reason he talks about tithing herbs is that this is one of the more picky-y-y-une things, right? This isn't 10% of your income. This isn't 10%. Right, he's saying,

you go to the point that when you grow herbs, I need your little herb garden, you go and pick 10%
