And almost instantaneously, my perception of her and her attractiveness, like, changed.

All of a sudden, the things that I had just thought about and thought, ah, I can't really,

ah, I don't know if I want to ask her out because, like, what will other people think,

you know, all of a sudden that changed in a heartbeat.

I remember going to my mom and talking to my mom about this situation.

She was just very good about helping me to not give such a shit about what other people thought

about me and just, like, made me feel okay with not being okay. I mean, this is applies to

all of life. So the only advice I can really give is, you know, what I think my parents did for me

and that's really give me the space and the time to figure things out and to not make me feel the

pressure to have to have it figured out sooner than I was ready to.
