I'm just trying to keep my snorkel tip above water and I'm stretching it as far as I can.

The semester is ending, and there's firesides and travel plans,

and I just got back from four days up in the Pacific Northwest picking up my son

from his service mission in Portland, and it was absolutely amazing to spend that time with him.

I was telling my dad, I would have loved to have three and a half days just to have dad to myself when I was a kid,

and to have that time with my son was amazing, to see the changes in him.

To all of you who served with him in Portland, or especially you, wonderful souls that served in the Portland Oregon Temple,

my son did all kinds of different acts of service, whether it was addiction recovery,

or homeless populations, or the Salvation Army, or the Bishop's Storehouse,

1:40.0

but a lot of the time at the Temple is well-serving.

And he came home with an incredible love of the Temple as well as those who served there.

So there's talk about spiritual taste buds being well-developed,

and you who serve in the Temple know exactly what I'm talking about.
