We had some great basketball games today.

And I'm not talking about the tournament.

I'm talking to the National Basketball Association.

The National Basketball Association did try to make its mark while everybody is paying attention to the first two days of the NCAA tournament.

The first one, which is early, I did see Del Curry's number go up in the rafters and the red hot Charlotte Hornets who were once 14 and 26 are now 36 and 34. So they've gone 22 and

eight over their last 30 games. They ran out on the magic. And the only reason I mentioned

this is because we're now in that stage of the year where every one of these games matters immensely towards teams

either being able to move up to seven and eight so that they've got a big advantage in the

play in, making the play in at all, even though we've kind of decided on the 10 teams in both

conferences. But most importantly, your opportunity to try to get into the top six.

And it seems like a long shot for some of these teams, but they get on heaters and they

win seven or eight after every 10 games they play, they got a chance at closing the gap.

We did say a couple weeks ago, like kind of this is sort of like the dead spot.

You know what I mean?

This is kind of like the doldrums of the schedule early March.

But it's starting to get better, especially when you have a matchup like this one between the Hornets and the Magic,

who are three and a half games separate before this game. And now they're two and a half games separate. And now we're like looking at schedules to see who can get where because the difference between six and seven is huge. Difference between eight and nine is huge. And you know, we don't have to talk about 10 and 11 because it's not really a thing in either conference. But it was really exciting. But I got to tell you, I was watching this Lakers game.

And the Lakers Rockets, they had their little Monday, Wednesday thing.

The Lakers had a clutch game against the Rockets last night, fly to Miami,

and they looked like they flew on a plane last night to start the game.
