The Pacers went on a little run.

Luca Donchich, what a performance, the efficiency, 44 points on 14 of 25 shooting, 7 of 14 from deep, 9 of 10 from the line, 9 boards, 5 assists, and get this, 3 steals, 2 blocks.

Just an all-around phenomenal performance by Luke Adantzich. In fact, let's just

get this out of the way early here. Superstar of the night.

44 oh no but it's but it's the pacer's the the lakers one no but it's the pacer's count, right? We can do that on every single thing that we talk about here tonight. But I think a couple things are true. Yes, it's the Pacers. Yes, it's a tanking team. This does not change the Lakers status in the NBA. This does not mean the Lakers are suddenly a contender,

but it was also an incredible performance and a fun win.

And most importantly, it was a game the Lakers needed to win.

The schedule is very difficult coming up,

and you had to win this game.

You have to win a game against a tanking team like this.

So we know that this does not change what the Lakers are.

This doesn't change their fortunes.

This doesn't mean suddenly they figured something out and they're moving on

in the next level.
