I wish it was under better circumstances.

I was planning on going live this afternoon to discuss some things this afternoon because I am in Florida right now,

visiting my in-laws, my father-in-law had his 70th birthday.

We did a big surprise thing for him last night.

It was a lot of fun.

But we just got, before I went live, a little bit of news on Austin Reeves.

Of course, we got the Luca Donchich injury to talk about as well.

Oh, boy, but here we go.

This is the latest.

Dan Wojke said Austin Reeves received imaging on his rib slash oblique. We saw him struggling with that injury against the Oklahoma City Thunder played through it. But still, obviously, was having a tough time with it. The Lakers are awaiting results. Status is TBD. Yeah, not,

not great. Not great there when you are already now. Luca is done, done for the season,

at least for the regular season. I look, when we'll get into Luca more in depth in a minute,

but I'm anticipating that we're not going to see Luca unless the Lakers make a particularly deep playoff run.

That's the way I'm looking at the Luca situation.

Now you may also be down Austin Reeves.

This is what Mike Trudell just put out a few moments ago from Lakers practice.

JJ Reddick said the Lakers are going to have to play a bit differently from a strategic

standpoint without Luca.

They also noted that Reeves, which of course they are, so much their offense revolved around

Luca, but Reeves and Smart are also dealing with injuries and their status is uncertain
