I am your host, Joel Waldman, and we are diving right in to the Luigi Mangione story.

Of course, he is the 26-year-old who's at the center of this nationwide manhunt back in December,

went on for five days before finally being tracked from New York

City, from Manhattan to Altoona, Pennsylvania, of all places where he was apprehended.

He is making headlines, again, for a number of reasons.

He has pleaded not guilty.

He's headed to state court tomorrow in New York.

He's got a date in Pennsylvania and the Commonwealth next week.

He's got a federal date coming up.

But he released a statement through his website, which I believe was put together through

his defense team and is basically a legal

defense fund, which is just odd in and of itself. Of course, he is the man accused of fatally shooting

United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Let's not forget his name and all this. Brian Thompson

was the CEO of United Healthcare, gunned down by all accounts

in cold blood. It was caught on video and most believe that Luigi Mangione is the trigger man.

And it's almost as though he is self-admitted because he's talking about it in his manifesto.
