NYPD. Well, back in the news and back in Manhattan is this gentleman right here,

Luigi Mangione. And one of the big things about this case, of course, is the amount of press that it has gotten,

which makes it an extremely high-profile case.

And what does that do?

Well, a high-profile case puts the eyes of the world on it.

According to the New York Post,

$500,000 has been raised

for the defense of

Luigi Mangione. And of course,

his defense attorney, Karen Friedman Agnifalo,

she has music to her ears,

so she knows that she's going to be getting paid.

But there's a lot of things going on in this case,

because there are three,

three different jurisdictions,

charging Luigi Mancioni.

In Manhattan Supreme Court, New York State Court,

he's being charged with murder in the second degree,

as well as a terrorism charge.

And then the feds are going to charge him,
