His team did paint him as someone with a promising future.

One thing that they say here is that the real enemy here is the medical system.

Let me understand what is happening. Now I know why there was a secret hearing to keep the defense

under wraps, but it was too late. The cat was out of the bag. The defense doesn't want the

public to know that the alleged defense for the alleged healthcare assassin is extreme emotional disturbance.

In other words, to mount a mental defect claim such as this, EED, extreme emotional disturbance,

you have to admit you did it, but you were emotional.

This has been all about Luigi Mangione from the get-go.

He's a young man, and he is being treated like a human ping-pong ball between two warring jurisdictions here.

And they are literally treating him like he is like some sort of political fodder,

like some sort of spectacle.
