So this is a bit of an emergency extra episode today on Tuesday afternoon.

Now, this investigation has been going on now for several years, led by Cheshire Police.

1:51.3

And what we can now tell you is that Lucy Letby will face no more charges.

1:58.6

This decision, we understand, was taken by the Crown Prosecution Service and it's not

2:03.1

a decision which Cheshire Police support. Liz, I think we should say that we started hearing some

2:09.5

sort of rumblings if you like about this very, very late last night, but we weren't sure really
