The other day, I was racing at over 100 miles per hour down the freeway when I lost control of the car,

flipped over ten times, and ended up halfway down the side of a cliff.

But I got out without a scratch.

With the help of a whole lot of luck.

From an exploding toilet to falling into a vat of liquid chocolate,

let's take a look at even more luckiest people who survived the impossible.

I've never been skiing because when someone says vacation, I think of warm, sunny beaches not freezing my tissue off on a mountain.

And I recently saw a horrifying video that only put me off even further. Back in April 2022,

an experienced skier was hitting the slopes in the French Alps when something went horribly wrong.

The footage is genuinely sickening to watch.

One moment he's gliding across powdery snow, the next, he's simply gone, swallowed by a hole

that opened underneath him without warning.

The man plummeted straight through the ice into a deep crevice and dropped down a terrifying 49 feet before managing to wedge

and scraped to a stop on a thin ledge.

Oh my gosh.

I'm getting chills just looking at that.

Thanks to a heap of luck and a skilled team of fellow skiers, this guy was pulled out of the icy hellhole by a rope and pulley.

But the whole process took hours.
