Hey guys, welcome back to Thicken Thin with me, Katie Belati. Today's episode of the podcast

is a really interesting one. It's going to give you a lot of food for thought, and overall

I think it's a pretty positive episode, but it kind of comes from a place or the inspiration

for this episode kind of comes from a place of negativity, which I just feel I need to start

with. So basically, in a nutshell, I've been seeing a lot of people around me succeed recently,

which is great. I feel like this has been a season of success for a lot of my friends,

for a lot of random strangers. I follow on Instagram. I've seen a lot of people succeeding,

and naturally, you know, you're happy for them, but then also you're like, okay, I need to step

up my game or like, wow, I'm kind of jealous of them. They're so lucky, like how were they in

the right place at the right time? How were they able to accomplish this with the same resources

I have? Like I am in the same boat as them, but they are like miles and miles ahead of me,

and gosh, they're so lucky. And I kept finding myself going there to the luck realm, not like,

oh, they earned it, but like, oh, they're so lucky. And I kept having to catch myself and be like,

wait a second, no, this person worked very hard for this. Their success is not my failure. You

know, we've talked about that before, but I always jump to this like, oh, they're so lucky,

you know, mentality. And it could be either in work, like they landed an awesome job or something,

or they, you know, created this awesome project, or they're gaining followers or something,

or in the romantic realm, like, oh, they're getting engaged. They found someone,
