Hey, everyone. I'm your other host, Caitlin. And welcome to this week's episode where we're back again with breaking news.

Breaking news. We never do this. And now we've got two weeks in a row of brand new news coming out of Lucasfilm and Disney.

Kathleen Kennedy is stepping down as president of Lucasfilm.

After 14 years, which is really crazy, we're going to talk all about it.

This has been out for a couple of days now,

but honestly, we wanted to let it sit for a little bit, and we were hoping that there would be

some kind of interview that came out of this, and there was. And we wanted to be sure to be

able to talk about that. So that's why maybe this is coming to your podcast feed a little

later than maybe you've expected. But that's why.

Yeah, we kind of wanted the dust to settle a little bit. Sometimes I think with big breaking news like

this, it needs a second. And then you get some interesting things that have happened on social

media, like things that have come up, different scoops that have happened, I think,

like the Hollywood Reporter. So I feel like we, there's a lot to discuss and I think there's,

I know there is, like a lot of emotions around this. So I think we, we need to break it all down

and talk it through. I feel like this is all, this is huge news, right? I feel like we're on the

precipice of a new era of Star Wars. And it's one of those things where it's like, what do you do

in this situation? I feel like for the past two years specifically, I have been nervous about what

this transition would look like because
