I got a special guest on the podcast. His name is Lucas Miles. So he is a pastor, author, speaker, and radio host.

And he's also been syndicated in articles across both political and religious news outlets. So we're talking like newsmax, the blaze, flashpoint, box news,

the Washington Times, CBN, the Christian posts, and there are others out there as well.

So in addition to his newest book, which is really the center point of our conversation today,

Woke Jesus, the false Messiah, destroying Christianity, Lucas is the author of the best-selling book. It was the number one best-selling book for a long time.

The Christian left how liberal thought has hijacked the church. And he's got other acclaimed books. So he has another one called Good God.

And he's done a whole lot of different things. But the interesting thing about this particular conversation is I heard him on John Cooper's podcast, Cooper stuff.

And I was like, dude, I got to talk to this guy because he has a way of cogently explaining things that are very, very complicated.

And so in this particular podcast, we talk about how I became a pastor and all that. But then we really dig into the book.

We do some definitional work at the beginning. What is Woke? What is Woke or Progressive or Conscious Christianity?

What is Liberation Theology? How does that relate to Black Liberation Theology? What about Nosticism? And how does that affect everything?

But we talk about some things in terms of the goals of Communism and how they manifest in modernity.

That's really one of the hinge points of the interview and the hinge points of the book as well.

But we talked about how proponents of Woke Christianity, they will twist scripture around and are they doing it?

Because they're dumb or are they doing it because they're nefarious?

We talk about groups like the SBC bringing CRT into the fold.

We also spend some time talking about the fact that he names names in his book.

And he didn't do that in the last one, but in Woke Jesus, he names names of Progressive Christians that have done kind of Woke Progressive type things.

And we name names in this podcast as well. So you're going to have to stick around to check those out.

But then we really get practical about what are Christians to do that go to these churches with some of these Woke or Progressive
