I don't use the word shock in week one anymore in this sport.

It was fantastic. You went and talked to them. Before we even get into the nitty-gritty of the matchups we're kind of looking forward to, and there's some question marks on both sides. Sam Levitt's foot, how healthy is it going to be week one? You have Chris Vizina at Clemson. Finally probably going to get a shot. I know the Tate Kid looked

really good during the spring. But when you look at this game for Clemson and Davos-Sweeney's

future, is this the most important game that he's coached at Clemson since maybe their last national

title game? I thought the LSU game to start last season was really big because they were more

expected to win that one.

There'll be a double-digit underdog in this one.

Now, that gives them a chance to do just the classic Clemson thing from a generation

past, I'll grant you all that.

But I thought it was way more important for them to win the one last year because you

saw what it started.

You saw the trajectory it started last year.

Now, like I said, go back to the beginning of that last sentence.
