We're in the LSU Sports Radio Network Capital One studio.

We're located right next door to Tiger Stadium as the campus was alive last night

with LSU's 31 to 16 victory over Mississippi State an explosive fourth quarter for LSU.

The Tigers trailed 16 to 10 entering the final period of the game.

But LSU outscores Mississippi State 21 to nothing in that fourth period, and the Tigers win going away.

31 to 16 in the SEC opener for both clubs.

LSU now 2 and 1 overall, 1 and 0 in the SEC in a great way for Brian Kelly to get his first

win as LSU's coach in a southeastern conference game as the tigers defeat the

Mississippi State Bulldogs to the LSU defense defense did a fantastic job you remember what

happened Mississippi State came in here two years ago they had had a huge day offensively, but not so last night. LSU's defense limited the Bulldogs to only 289 total yards, only 214 yards passing and 75 yards rushing.

LSU also sacked Mississippi State quarterback Will Rogers on four occasions and a really

limited Mississippi State's third and fourth down conversion opportunities. The Bulldogs just

three of 14 on third downs and only one of four on fourth downs. That was a huge difference

in the game. The LSU defense played on a phenomenal level

last night, as did the LSU offense, especially in that fourth quarter, when it appeared as if

LSU was the stronger, more physical team. It appeared as if Mississippi State had worn down

the Tigers was still playing at a very high level and LSU took over that fourth quarter
