John chapter 8 will be our reading. We are in the third part of a collection that we have titled

Redemption, that God restores that which life has ruined. And I don't know about you, but that is my story.

We serve a God who, well, he redeems time.

He restores things.

Redemption means to buy back.

Anybody grateful for a God that didn't discard you,

that didn't leave you on the wayside,

but he buys you back?

And I think today on Palm Sunday, this is the day that we remember Jesus entering into Jerusalem.

And he was coming on an assignment, and the assignment was a rescue mission.

I like to think about the fact that you were on his mind, that you were worth it to Jesus, that he was going to spill his

blood and he was going to die on a tree, a cursed tree for my sins and for your sins,
