Well, hello and welcome to Kindled. This is episode 89, and I'm your host, Haley Williams. Today I'm going to be chatting with Alexandra Kirkendall

about loving your actual Christmas. I really love this title. It's actually the title of her book as well,

but it resonated with me the second I saw it because haven't we all been there? Our own Christmas,

our own actual real holiday can sometimes not be the one of our

dreams or the ones that we envisioned or hoped for or think we should be having.

Alexandra is a mom of four girls who has been there and she gets it and she actually wrote a book

on it. This applies to other holidays too, but we are coming into

the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. So this is just a really timely episode for everyone to

kind of refocus our hearts on what this season is all about. Those words are cheesy, but real.

There is something that we are actually celebrating celebrating and it is so easy and possible to

actually let it get buried in the mess and the stress of our day to day. So I hope that above all
