| 0:10.0 | We've been meditating on how the Christian life isn't just supposed to be about us. |
| 0:15.0 | It's not just about our happiness, our peace, our salvation, because it's a relationship with God, and a relationship |
| 0:23.7 | should never be just one-sided. Charity is the virtue by which we live our lives in order to |
| 0:31.4 | please God, to make him happy, to console him, and make up for all the ingratitude and indifference and even hatred |
| 0:42.3 | that he receives from humanity. |

| 0:48.3 | Our sacrifices should be offered as reparation to him. |
| 0:59.5 | Our good deeds should be done out of a desire, not just to get to heaven, |

| 1:08.5 | but as a way of showing our love for our Lord and our Father. |
| 1:12.6 | That's also true of the way we love our neighbor. We should love our neighbor, our spouse, our kids, |
| 1:20.6 | but we should also do it because we love God. |
| 1:31.3 | We should love others for God's sake. Our Father who art in heaven, hallow would be your name. |
