Song of Songs chapter 3 and begin reading with, let's go to verse 2.

It says, I will arise now.

Well, go back to verse 1. By night on my bed,

I sought the one I love. I sought him, but I did not find him. I will rise now, I said, and I will go about the city in the streets and in the squares and I will seek the one I love.

I sought him, but I did not find him.

The watchman, so going around the city in the night, looking for the one they love.

And it says, the watchman who go about the city found me and said, and I said, have you seen the one I love?

Scarcely I had passed by them when I found the one I love, and I held him. And I would not let him go.

Say those words with me. And I held him. Come on, say it with me. And I held him and I would not let him go. Say it again.

And I held him and I would not let him go. That's a decision that we make in our life. And I want to talk

to you this morning real briefly about loving Jesus for a lifetime. How many think that's

a worthy purpose, the highest purpose that we've been given is to know and to love the Lord.

There's nothing higher.

There's nothing greater.

And to love him for a lifetime.

Come on.

How many are you going to do that with me?

I am encouraging you in here because we live in a crazy world.

We just went through some crazy years in the past,

and we saw overnight 25%, they say, some say 30%,

25 to 30% of church attenders just stop going to church.
