Summary

In this episode, Shelby and Krystal talk about what it looks like to navigate relationships that we have with hard to love people. Rather than avoid every person that irritates or bothers us, how can we lean into the gospel and allow God's love to be reflected in the way we love and serve others?  As we chat through this topic, we will encourage you to remember how Christ loved us when we were "hard to love." We will look at Scripture to see how we can practically love hard to love people even when it feels impossible. And we will remember that we are dependent on the Spirit to help us love others with the love of Christ. 0:24.7

He is, changes everything. My name is Shelby and I'm Crystal. And we want to invite you to come

0:31.2

join us as we chat about the truth and God's Word in our everyday lives.

Hey everybody and welcome back to the Daily Grace Podcast. This is Crystal and as always I

0:42.1

enjoyed by my friend and coho Shelby. Hey Shelby, hi everybody, super excited to be with you today.

0:47.6

You know when we're planning our episodes and our topics, we have some topics we'll say,

0:52.5

yeah, this is something I totally relate to or some are like, no, I don't feel like this really

0:56.8

affects me. And I feel like this is one that the more I started doing research, the more convicted,

1:02.6

I felt and the more it humbled me. And so we'll talk a little bit more about it, but our topic

1:07.5

today is how to love, hard to love people. So before we get into today's topic, we're going to

1:13.4

share our favorite things. So this is something we do at the top of every episode. This is something we

1:17.8

are loving and using. And so Shelby, what is your favorite thing this week? My favorite thing

1:23.6

this week and every week. And I'm honestly shocked that I've not shared about it yet. I

1:28.3

literally have one sitting on my desk is cream soda flavored Zivia. Zivia is basically a sparkling

1:37.9

water, but it tastes like different pop flavors. I say pop. What do you say? Soda, you say soda.

1:44.4

Well, I mean soda or pop. Whatever you all call it, but it's zero sugar. I drink one that's

1:51.1

caffeine free, although I do really enjoy caffeine. I just happen to like a caffeine

1:54.3

reflavor in this. My husband really likes Dr. Zivia. It tastes like Dr. Pepper. I literally have

2:00.3

it on a subscription from Amazon. So it shows up at my door and I will never run out. And so I'm

2:05.6

shocked. I haven't shared about it yet. But cream soda flavored Zivia is like just a total favorite

2:12.0

thing for me. I love cream soda. So I might try that out. Because what's the like benefit of Zivia?
