we still got a lot going on and we have these new syndromes that are born out of

socio, political, environmental things that are happening. We're talking a lot about that when

COVID first occurred.

You know, what is this going to do to all of us?

Is it going to be somewhat of a collective trauma?

There's some trauma.

There's some growth, right?

Post-traumatic growth, post-traumatic stress.

And now we're talking about something called lifestyle fatigue.

I'll talk more about it down the road because this is something that I think has a lot of different entry points. So we'll hit it again.

But it's what a lot of people are going through right now. It's this flatness, this watered downness.

One of the words we use is Anhadonia.

Anhadonia, Anhadonia, Anhadonia, it's basically the inability to really experience much joy or pleasure in your life.

And I think it's something a lot of us can encounter and maybe our feeling.

And my work clinically has been to normalize that.

Not that it feels good, but that is a natural response to what's going on.

It's not disordered or pathological.

We don't ever want to call something that's an understandable expected response, a disorder or pathology.

Just like when someone dies and you're grieving or sad, that is normal, natural, and healthy. You are, that is an appropriate response to grief and loss is sadness or depression.

Depression is appropriate and healthy at times. Anxiety is a healthy and appropriate at times.
