It is June.

So we're going to be sprinkling some pride discussions, topics, points of interest,

kind of throughout the show during the week.

I also want to start each show this week talking a little bit about ways to prioritize mental health and self-care.

Just quick tips.

I know we like everything quick and simple and easy. So I'm going to try to open the rest of the week each show just with some

those quick concepts. Just little reminders. It often feels repetitive. But one of the things I've learned

through being an educator and also a therapist and also a public figure is repetition is good. Sometimes people don't catch on the first time.

And more importantly, the more we hear something, the more we internalize it, really build it in and make it, make it part of just the new paradigm or mindset that we have.

But I just wanted to start by reminding everyone, listen, it's Pride Month.

So let's all, if only for the month, which, please, it's an ongoing thing. The world is

not safe for people that are part of the LGBTQA community, right? We've talked about it.

There are tons of laws being passed that are anti. There's also places around the world where

you can be murdered and killed so much. So I just want to start by saying, listen, this is a

month to celebrate anyone who's

part of that umbrella community and even allies. Make sure it is celebratory, right? This shouldn't

be a time of exclusion or violence about people from the community, right? It should be about

inclusion and support and care. So remember, pride started out as a protest against violence and stigma, mainly at the hands
