Hey, y'all hanging in there. You getting through the week? All right, we got a great show

plan for you. We're going to kind of drop into the Roe v. Wade stuff, really considering and

looking at the mental health impacts and implications of this, it's important because, remember,

all forms of oppression, all forms of body autonomy, human rights, civil rights, reproductive justice, feminism, misogyny, toxic masculinity.

There's so much woven into this.

And it's not just a matter of the Democrats versus the Republicans and pro-life versus

pro-choice. There's so much more embedded in it. And we're going to kind of talk about it.

So basically, the White House is preparing for a Supreme Court ruling around overturning

Roe versus Wade. And if you're watching, you know, I think the news you're going to see, well, if you haven't

already, you're going to see a lot more of this kind of ramping up. We're stepping into the thick

of it. And as always, my concern, you know, I'm not a journalist. I'm not a news anchor. I'm a

therapist. I, you know, want to cover those implications that are mental health related that aren't often discussed.

And that kind of bums me out because as I'm looking at the different social media pages and the news coverage,

it's often ignoring the impact that it's having on individual people's lives and families and the social world.

And it's more around the legalities and the politics of.

And of course, that's all very, very important

because these things are laws set precedent. And I want us to round it out, though, and

humanize it because we're talking about people's lives. And I think it's easy to forget that

when we pull something out and we make it more topical or we look at the

political ramifications and whatnot. So we're going to kind of sit with that a little bit.
