Good evening, everybody. How you all doing? Got a great show plan for you. I'm super stoked,

0:06.2

actually, about a couple of things we're going to talk about tonight. I've been holding on to this

0:09.3

one article on topic. It's some really amazing outdated dating advice from a women's magazine from

0:16.4

the late 50s. And interesting to see what was normalized back then and also to see what we

0:23.8

still think, what we still think not all that has advanced. It's kind of wild. And then we're going to

0:28.7

be talking about why you might be always exhausted things to do about it. And then we're going to be

0:31.8

doing a little couples therapy. That's right, talking about how to be a better partner, but also how to

0:36.4

be good at de-escalating

0:37.9

things. Interesting stuff in the news. I don't really want to get into the story as much as I was

looking at this. And I thought, this is a really great conversation starter. So recently,

0:46.7

we've heard a couple stories about people that were attempting to hook up and were lured to

0:52.6

someone else's apartment and essentially were harmed

0:55.8

while there. They were murdered. I've seen one last week and I saw one the week before.

1:00.4

So what I really want to talk about was just safety. I hate that we have to talk about it,

1:04.3

but we do. Whenever you're going to be going to someone's place, whether it's a first date,

1:08.6

whether it's a hookup, whatever it is, you want to make sure that

1:11.9

you give someone the location and whatever information you can. And designate a friend. I have a

1:18.0

friend that I have do that for me. And when I was out there participating in that way, I did that

1:22.5

for to them. And I said, hey, look, I'm not going to say any context, but if I send you a picture and or a location, you'll know why.

1:30.3

And I think we should be doing that.

1:31.9

You can also do find a friend.

1:35.3

I can't remember what it's called, but it's like a locator where you can share your location with friends.
