Maybe we're going to talk about one of the more important things that we ever are going to talk about.

Why is that? Well, we're going to talk about something that is applicable to almost every relationship we have in our life.

I know it's hard work.

Some people call it shadow work.

Some people call it mindfulness.

Other call it, you know, trauma healing.

And that's what's so fascinating is some people think trauma work is only happening when

we're using that word or when we're talking about painful events from our early

life. But the way we now work with trauma is we understand that we bring it into our present

lives and that trauma is an issue with our memory and memory consolidation and memory processing.

And we work through it in the current. We work with it in how it is showing up in our body

and in our cognitive ideologies that we see on self and other in the world.

And more importantly, in our relationships, relational trauma can only be healed within relationships.

Yes, there's an individual component of that work.

But the work is done relationally, and that can be done in therapy and then also taken out into our wider lives, into, you know, the wider rest of our world.

And so it's really important work to look at what our wounds are, aka our triggers.

But again, it's really hard work because it's about going inward and looking at ourselves.
