Summary
Today, we're exploring the common habit of comparing ourselves to others—and how it misaligns us with our true desires. I'll break down why trying to keep up with the Joneses doesn't just feel draining—it affects your vibration and keeps you chasing instead of creating. Tune in for a fresh perspective on how to align with what you truly want by tuning in to your own values, instead of following the crowd.

| 0:50.2 | So I want to start with a phrase you've probably heard before, keeping up with the Joneses. |
| 0:58.3 | It usually refers to comparing ourselves to others in terms of social status, material possessions, or outward appearances, |
| 1:09.8 | things like who drives the nicer car, who's got the designer |
| 1:13.7 | kitchen, whose kids are going to the right school. And let's be honest, there's often a subtle |
| 1:22.1 | or not so subtle undercurrent of competition or comparison in all of that. But here's the thing. When you look at |
| 1:33.8 | keeping up with the Joneses through the lens of law of attraction, it becomes really clear |
| 1:41.2 | that this mindset isn't just emotionally exhausting, it's vibrationally misaligned. |
| 1:51.9 | Let's unpack that. First, we need to acknowledge what's really going on when we try to |
| 1:57.9 | keep up with someone else. At its core, that behavior stems from lack, |
| 2:04.6 | lack of self-worth, lack of clarity about what truly matters to you, lack of belief that |
| 2:12.7 | you're already enough exactly as you are. And as you know, lack is not a good feeling place. Lack is |
| 2:21.4 | low vibe. And what does law of attraction say about that? You attract what you're a vibrational |
| 2:29.7 | match to. So if you're in a place of lack, constantly focused on what others have and what you |
| 2:38.1 | don't, you're going to keep attracting more experiences that reinforce that sense of not |
| 2:46.8 | enoughness, more reasons to feel inadequate, more things to chase. And spoiler alert, |
| 2:55.5 | there's always going to be another Jones to catch up with. Now, let me be clear, there's |
| 3:04.1 | nothing wrong with wanting beautiful things, a lovely home or financial abundance. |
| 3:12.0 | But the key difference, the vibrational difference, is whether that desire is coming from inspiration or comparison. |
