0:07.4	and so we're just going to dive right in. So the first topic is love versus lust. Love is more
0:16.4	powerful because it engages the emotions. People in love can be easily misled. A person in lust
0:24.9	can easily leave once they get what they want, i.e. getting access to the box, hooking up,
0:31.6	the one night stand, feels nothing, so he's gone. So it was interesting obviously the the book art of
0:39.3	seduction is talking about the seduction process and talking about historical
0:45.3	figures people like Casanova and it's interesting how they looked at it is like
0:50.8	they focused on getting the other person's emotions engaged.
0:55.0	Because as I've talked about a lot of times over the years in videos, because my background
0:58.4	is in sales, is that we make our buying decisions based on emotion, and then we use logic
1:04.9	and reason to justify that. So when it comes to the seduction process, getting somebody to feel love for you or get their
1:13.6	emotions engaged, that's when the emotions are engaged, it kind of overrides all the logic. That's why I'm sure you've probably seen stories over the years of,
1:23.6	you have these successful attorneys and they fall in love with these criminals
1:28.8	that they're representing.
1:30.5	And then they go, they throw their career away.
1:32.5	I remember there was one, I think it was in 1970s or 1980s.
1:35.3	She literally flew in a helicopter.
1:38.4	I don't know if she, you know, at gunpoint got the helicopter pilot to fly to the prison
1:44.1	and then the husband or the the
1:46.0	convict boyfriend or whatever hopped in or they took all i don't know if they got to mexico or
1:50.8	whatever but this was a seemingly smart successful woman and she just completely threw a career
1:57.9	and her life away because she got seduced by a guy in prison.
