One of the most unique gifts that you have in particular is your identity

Allah has blessed you

With your own unique identity

You would be known people know you you have a name your parents have named you in some cultures

It might not be the parents, but in Islam

It's preferred that the parents name the child a good name and obviously it's because you're going to be called

Using that name throughout your life you don't want to be called with a bad name so that they would perhaps say

Fool imagine if your name was fool and every little while they called you fool and that's the reason why

Islam considers it totally prohibited to use even a nickname that someone does not like to be called by in order to refer to them
