Turn with me to 1 Peter the second chapter, please.

First Peter, chapter 2.

In praying about the service this evening and the direction for these days and upcoming days and weeks,

I was impressed with some of the truth that we'll be reading in 1st Peter.

Also, you can find Romans 12.

We'll just go from one to the other.

And we'll read 1st Peter 2 and then Romans 12.

In verse 5, he says,

you also as lively stones,

other translations bring out living stones,

are built up a spiritual house.

You know, God is building a house.

He's building it out of living stones

of which you are one.

Amen.

Every time you see lost folks, unbelievers, you ought to think building materials.

Because when the last one is born again and the last living stone sealed into place and this holy edifice is complete, the Lord's going to finish this thing

and fill his living temple, a temple not made with hands.

Aren't you glad to be a part of this holy house?

You are as living stones are built up a spiritual house,

a holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
