A few weeks ago, we began a series that we're calling love over knowledge. And the more I get into this, the more excited about it I am becoming. It is such a big part of the New Testament and we have not emphasized it enough in proportion to how much of it is there

and so in 1st Corinthians 13 this is called the great love chapter, but actually half of it is about growing up spiritually.

And that's not a change of subject because growing up spiritually is growing up in love.

God is love.

Growing up spiritually is growing up in God, which is growing up in love.

Well, he talks about the characteristics of the God kind of love.

And then he says, in verse 9, that love never fails, other translations say it never comes

to an end. And that where there be prophecies, they'll fail, tongues, they'll cease, knowledge,

it'll vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

Everybody say that out loud, we know in part.

We know in part.

Now, if we know in part, we should not act like we know it all.

Because we don't.

I said we don't.

Nobody you know is right about everything.

Including your favorite preachers or your favorite teachers. is right about everything,

including your favorite preachers or your favorite teachers or nobody you know is right about

everything that they say and do.

You know what?

They only know part.

Well, if you only know a part what does that mean there are other parts
