Hey there, I'm so glad you stop by for this podcast. We hope so much we can serve you today.

I want to begin with you reading. A heart of it

begins at 22. I want so badly to back up and retract. I cannot stand it. But I'm going to start reading right at 22 if it kills me.

And then I'm going through the third verse of chapter 2. Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth, so that you have sincere love for your

brothers, love one another deeply. Everybody say those three words.

Now say these three, from the heart.

For you have been born again, not of perishable

through the living and enduring word of God.

For all men are like grass

and all their glory is like the flowers of the field.

The glass, grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever.

Everybody say that part. The word of the Lord stands forever.

And this is the word that was preached to you.

Therefore, and the reason why I want to go ahead into chapter two,

now mind you, the chapter divisions have not necessarily

been inspired under the Holy Spirit's direction.

Men put those in to give us some kind of understanding between those chapters.

In fact, you know, I'm being tutored in Greek and I learned early on in my classes

that there weren't even any punctuations.

These sentences just went from one and to the other.

There was no period between them in the original Greek.

Can you imagine?
