0:12.0	And I'm Patrick Miller. right now we are working through 1st
0:15.2	Corinthians 13 which is Paul's definition of love. We've been going through
0:20.8	Paul's famous chapter on love,
0:23.1	phrase by phrase.
0:24.5	And I find every phrase to be convicting and challenging,
0:28.4	because it takes love out of the nebulous world
0:31.2	where it's kind of vague, and it makes it concrete and specific.
0:35.2	It takes it out of the warm fuzzy feeling and it shows me that love is always actively
0:41.4	pursuing the good of other people.
0:44.0	Love is enhancing other people's lives.
0:48.0	And today we're going to see that love never fails. That's convicting to me. My love fails far too quickly, far too often.
0:58.6	But God's love to us in Jesus never fails. That's good news for all of us who believe in Christ.
1:07.0	For we are all people who at one time or another have wondered whether God just gives up on us. When people annoy us,
1:18.0	they finally get to a position where we just say forget about it and we write people off. Does God do that with us? Does he ever get so
1:25.8	tired of my sin? My same struggle with sin every single day that he just says,
1:32.0	forget it, Keith, I'm going to find someone who's more
1:34.8	serious more committed to me than you are a want to work with people who make
1:40.7	progress and you just seem stuck in those same sins.
1:45.0	Does God's love ever fail?
1:48.0	Paul says, no it doesn't.
