Happy Valentine's Day.

Oh, what a season.

Oh, this is such a fun, full season in my life personally and in our church every Sunday.

But it's also a heavy season, and we sing a song about God meeting us and are waiting like that.

And I think about the different people who are in our audience

who I don't even know, you never know what God might be doing in someone's life. And so while we do

celebrate how powerful the Holy Spirit has been in these moments, we're also grieving. On January 31st,

2021, we had the most impactful Sunday in the history of our church, which for me was a little

bit humbling because I wasn't preaching. We had a guest pastor in the house named Brad

Jones who got up here at our 830 gathering and started saying gigum, Aggies. And it was a little

bit uncomfortable because no one said gigum. And he said, but I'll say War Eagle and tried to create a negotiation type with you guys.

And you guys are like, I'm not having it.

But there was one man on the third row who said Gigam Aggie's back because he was originally

from Texas.

And that man's name was Mike Power, 47 years old, father of three, coach, high school math teacher, an incredible man. And the

crazy thing that happened two weeks ago, I go into full detail about this on our Grace Truth

podcast, and you can hear me talk about it if you want to check it out. But by lunchtime, Mike was in

the presence of Jesus, very suddenly. And most most of the day we were kind of like trying to

figure out what just happened because he had a conversation during the 830 a.m. with the guy who was

preaching and the message was on eternal life. Heaven. And so we came back to the 4.30 and the 630 that day. And I've never seen anything like

what happened in this room. People just fallen on their face before God and surrendering everything

to him. And it's not really about what happens physically or audibly. But you could sense the power
