Those who bear the title of boss will readily admit that the weight of leadership is sometimes

heavy, especially when your team gets restless and begins to complain.

Well, today, on Insight for Living, Chuck Swindall continues his study on leadership called

Hand Me Another Brick.

He's teaching from Nehemiah 5 about reconstructing the wall around the city of Jerusalem.

When the builder started to grumble about their shortage of food and materials, Nehemiah

stepped in.

His workers were arguing about money.

Let's pick up the study now at the point of highest tension.

Nehemiah got angry.

He knew the principles of the heavenly handbook, the law, and they were threefold.

Number one, it is not wrong to lend money to a non-Jew for interest.

Number two, it is not wrong to lend money to a Jew.

Number three, it is wrong to lend money to a Jew for interest or with interest.

And involved in that is the whole problem of slavery.

It is wrong to make a slave out of a fellow Jew or his family, regardless of the heavy

indebtedness.

He got mad because they knowingly ignored and disobeyed God's word.

Some people say to me at times, well, you preach as though we're never going to get mad.

You've never heard me say that.

You know why you want to get mad when God's word is broken, that ought to make you so mad,
