But let's say you could be Zeus or Hera, the king and queen of the Greek gods.

Back in a time when they ruled all of earth.

Yes, I know this is just make believe,

but imagine having an infinite amount of power and wealth.

You would think you would be happy, content?

Well, Hera was not.

Not that I can completely falter for this, she was married to Zeus, who might as well have been the king of philandering.

Zeus flunked at his numerous affairs and Hera was powerless to stop him.

She was not, however, prevented from punishing the objects of her husband's affections.

Although Hera knew that some of Zeus's so-called Indiscretions were actually unwilling

victims that Zeus had tricked and raped,

Hera showed no mercy to the victims or even the children of the victims.

Her vengeance was creative. She transformed a human

paramour into a cow and a nymph into a bear that she had another god, Shoot.

Hara would also dole out curses that drove some of her victims insane.

For example, after finding out that one of Zeus's lovers, Lido, was pregnant,

she kidnapped the goddess of childbirth, which prevented Lido from having an easy pregnancy and delivery.
