Okay, so I recently had to get some seizure medication for a friend.

And crazily, this medication isn't covered by insurance.

In fact, the only place this particular type of medicine can be purchased is at a cannabis

shop.

But luckily, Mary Jane is legal here in California.

So I go to the marijuana store.

It's well lit, clean, nice, except there's a long line.

It feels kind of like waiting at a pharmacy, but the opposite.

Because most people seem happy.

Folks talk to one another.

And when I look around, it's such a cross-section.

Men, women, old, young, every race, people in suits, people in flip flops, the beautiful

people, the wretched, and there's more than one snap fan in the line.
