Morning, everybody. Nice to be company. Thursday, the 27th of July. I've got to hold my hands up.

Because I said yesterday, wait for the rain. What happened? Nothing really. Just a little

smattering. It wasn't, not anything of the biblical proportions that we were told about two days ago. Don't worry, the heat waves finished. Not on the French Riviera or in Italy, but where they've got a drought situation in Rome, where the popes had to turn off the fountains. Poor soul. I mean, that must be annoying, wasn't it? Because when you're elderly, it's nice to hear the sound of running water at night.

It's either outside your bedroom window or on the bed. You know, take your choice on that one.

And so I was waiting for the rains yesterday, so I was battening down the hatches, and I thought,

I won't bother watering anything because it'll water itself. I'll actually have to get out and do a few of the baskets. And then blow me down, bone dry this morning. So out there I was, at a half-past-one, watering things and trying to,

you know, just clinging on for the last sort of month or so, something like that. Over in Love Island,

apparently it turns out that Channel 5 are bringing out a version of it. They all jump on the same old bandwagon, don't they?

And this time the winner, Kem, who's a really interesting, fantastically talented, nobody.

He's just appeared on a programme. He's revealed he'll never forgive himself for portraying Amber Davis in Casa Amour, but insists he won't marry her for 10 years,

which is a bit of a shame because she was saying to anybody who listened yesterday,

we're going to get married before Christmas, because she's desperate for the publicity.

Now, you and I know that, in fact, they will get married, and then they will split up short time later,

because that's how it works in this business.

Their agent would say, listen, do that. You can get money for the photos and you can pretend to everybody that you're really in love as opposed to. You're basically a bit of a bimbo,

and you've just slept with somebody on a television program, because they're all like that.

They all do it. I said the other day, I said, I think, it always amazes me on the radio,
