Today is Valentine's Day.

A wonderful holiday devoted to thoughts of love,

tucked into the middle of a winter month to warm the heart

and revitalize the spirit of men and women.

I asked Pat Holland if she ever received a special Valentine from present Holland that she would share with us.

And I found out that she was born just two days after Valentine's,

and so he's always called her his February 16th Valentine.

She told me that when she was about to turn 40,

she had all the attendant feelings of reluctance to let go of

the 20s and 30s that most women feel, until her sweetheart gave her a Yadro Cinderella and said,

you will always be my Cinderella of magical enchantment. Thank you, Pat. You are enchanting to us too. I'm glad Valentine is right

here in the middle of this foggy, snowy February, with all of its sweet sentiments, lovely pink
