Episodes 5 to 8 and with me is my co-host for this season, Brian from Maths Furgeon.

Hi Brian. How are you doing today?

I'm good. This season is delivering what I needed to deliver.

So I'm feeling pretty good about this season and about talking about this batch episodes.

Yes, I am excited too because they kept the trajectory. It is still good. We are still getting a balance of drama and we're getting the romance and that is all I ask of maths. You know,

we know we're leaning towards the drama, but all we need is a little bit of romance and a little bit of drama. Like, I don't know. We can eat our cake and have it too. No, I always say that the best, like the formula for a good math season, give me one couple that is boring that I know is going to wind up together because they're very happy. Give me one couple that is a complete train

wreck, preferably from either the wedding night or from the honeymoon onward, and it's just a disaster

the whole time. And then everybody else, the other two or three couples, like give me a toss-up,

or I don't know going into decision day what they're going to do. We haven't had one of those seasons

in a very long time. Yep, that is true. Before we get into

the episode, just want to let everyone know that our episode for the weddings next week is going to

be a little bit late. I am giving myself a break. I think I'm even tired of saying myself talk,

so I'm giving you a break. I'm going to be

out of town, I kid. And when I get back, we will get right back on it. So just FYI that it will be

coming out late. Now, Brian, something we didn't talk about last back that I say seeing online

in the chatter is people or some people had a problem with people in the pods exposing their ethnicities.

I personally didn't have a problem with it, but wanted to check in. What would you, where do you

stand on that? It doesn't bother me at all. I mean, I think I'm of two minds about it.

Like, number one, if it's going to be important to you, then, like, you got to bring it up.

If you are somebody who, for whom your ethnicity and your culture is, like, a central part of your social life of what you do, of your, you know, your leisure time, then, like, you got to bring that stuff up because you can't just leave out a big part of what you do of your, you know, your leisure time, then like, you got to bring
