but what about those who bring us stress or just kind of get on our nerves?

How can we be in a relationship with them?

Thankfully, God's Word is filled with the answers we need to have healthy relationships, no matter how those around us behave.

Today, Joyce will share some of the ways we can all work toward having more joy and peace with everyone in our lives. Now here's Joyce with the series Enjoying Successful Relationships.

Let's look at Ephesians 1, 4, and 5.

Okay, now I want you to just read along with me here, and let's just take our time and let's

digest these scriptures.

Even as in his own love, he chose us, actually picked us out for himself as his own in Christ

before the foundation of the world that we should be wholly consecrated and set apart for him

and blameless in his sight, even above reproach, living before him in love.

Now, to really get the full meaning of what that's saying, you have to understand all these

words. And I've got a lot I want to say this morning

and I can't go over every little minute detail of everything. But I want you to pay attention

the fact that it says, God just didn't get stuck with you. He chose you. You understand me?

I like certain kind of apples and when I go to the grocery store and I pick out apples,

I don't want an ugly apple.

I want a pretty apple.

The Bible says that we are the apple of God's eye.

And God looked at you, and he looked at me, at every single one of us.
