0:00.0	By now, I'm sure you've heard at least a hundred times one of the following statements.
0:11.5	Christmas is the season for giving. The magic of Christmas. Christmas miracles.
0:18.2	Not only that, but at Christmas time, we see some of the most amazing transformation
0:25.0	takes place in people who may be hard driving or scrooge-like stingy or has not regard for
0:33.8	anyone else or don't even think of God. And for some reason, around Christmas time,
0:40.0	some big transformation takes place in their life. They become generous and thoughtful and
0:45.1	warm and fuzzy and even give a little. And so for a short period of time, at least,
0:51.7	everybody talks about the spirit of Christmas, right? What is that
0:56.3	spirit of Christmas? For those of us who know and love Jesus, the spirit of Christmas
1:02.5	is 24-7 year-round. Why? Because we know firsthand that God loved, therefore he gave. Because we know firsthand, we have a
1:17.6	firsthand experience of that indescribable self-sacrificing love of God. Because what we were like before Christ came into our life and how we
1:31.6	could not even comprehend that anybody could love us like that. And that is why Jesus said,
1:37.4	for God so loved the world that he gave. Now, whether the rest of the world understand this or not, I know we do. We know that
1:47.8	the spirit of Christmas and the why is called the season of giving, and why we talk about the
1:53.9	miracle of Christmas, to those who know and love Jesus, Every day is Christmas Day.
2:08.2	Every day we wake up and we go and open, not a box, but a book.
2:11.5	Every day we receive a gift.
2:12.4	Every day.
2:24.5	Every waking moment, in fact, we are reminded by the Holy Spirit of the great gift because God so loved that he gave.
2:32.3	Every day we are reminded from the word of God that God's love was not a partial love and it's not a partial love.
2:34.7	That God's love is not part-time love, that God's love is not a partial love. That God's love is not part-time love,
2:39.8	that God's love is not an occasional love. That God's love, not only he loves us when we're nice, but he loves us when we're naughty. I mean, God's love is permanent and eternal and everlasting.
